New Barcelona hitman David Villa is very very surprised that his Spanish team mate and very close friend Fernando Torres is not joining Chelsea this summer. The striker claims that he had a long chat during World Cup days with Torres and he was convinced he was going to switch Melwood for West London. He also adds that the only reason why he is not a BLUE by now is that Chelsea must not have met Liverpool's crazy valuation of the player

However, Villa now believes that this is last chance for Liverpool to keep Torres by having good season and winning some kind of silverware, come May 2011. He strongly believes that, if that is not the case, Torres will be 100% Chelsea player next summer.

He said to media today "I am actually a little surprised. It looks like Nando is staying,'After I spoke with him at the World Cup I thought he would sign for Chelsea.

"I think it must only be that Chelsea did not meet Liverpool's valuation. Because, if they had, I am sure he would have made the move.''

"This is Liverpool's last chance to keep him. They have to prove they are capable of challenging on all fronts this season, otherwise he will be gone. If Liverpool fail to win anything I am sure he will be at Chelsea next summer.''
