Chelsea Times - Daily Reporter - Zhirkov, Laudrup and India

    Daily News and Analysis

Left Winger Zhirkov has suggested that he will consider the options to move away from Chelsea if he doesn't get the regular chances in the first team.
Well we cant blame him for such decision. We all know that he is a player with immense caliber and has performed really well when he got the chance last season in absence of Ashley. But now it seems that neither of Ashley nor Malouda seem to be getting injured and hence his chances are restricted. But we can hope that he will be given start in upcoming games as Carlo has already suggested that he will rotate the squad here and there this season to keep all the players fit and ready to play with full potential in crucial ties especially in Champions League

Future Uncertain

Former Chelsea player Brian Laudrup has said that he has been diagnosed with Cancer.
Laudrup played for Chelsea just for one season in 1998-99 and made 7 appearances during the time. We wish well to him.

Club in talks with Indian corporate houses for football promotion in India.
Chelsea head of marketing Ben Walls was quoted as saying , "We do not believe in short-term measures. We see India as a long-term opportunity and are committed to it. Hosting an event like the World Cup by 2030 would leave a legacy that future Indians can build on,"
Though the most played game is Cricket in the country still over the past few years the number of football followers has grown by leaps and bounds and still the country has been quiet neglected in marketing aspects. If we strategically plan the move then the club will set up a huge business in the country.
