Chelsea Times - Lampard Fit, McEachran Enters Record Book

    Daily News and Analysis

    Lampard fit for Blackpool

Chelsea hit-man Frank Lampard has been reported to be fit for the weekend game where we will host newly promoted Blackpool at Stamford Bridge. Lampard has already missed 2 matches in a row for Chelsea which does not seem to have happened for ages. Lampard also missed the national duty for couple of games.
Lampard was substituted in the game against Stoke City, later it was confirmed that he will undergo hernia operation as he failed to respond other medical treatments. The operation which was carried was of similar nature which Drogba also had at the end of the July.
But no it all seems fine and the vice-captain will again take the mid field in charge this weekend. Though its not confirmed whether he will start the match or will come as substitute but my guess is that he will probably start the game.

It was a footballing lesson for us says Zilina coach

MSK Zilina coach, Hapal said in the press conference that his side were bitten by a powerful opposition. and appreciated Chelsea by saying that they played good game.
Despite the loss the coach should be happy regarding his side's performance in the second half of the game where they created lots of chances and were better side than Chelsea for most of the time only managed to concede one goal in contrast to the first half where they were hammered with 3 goals in the space of 14 minutes. Also they grabbed the goal in second half. so even after being at the loser side still they will fill proud of their overall performance in the game.
