Chelsea Times - Osgood Statue, Ramires, Turnbull to Start and Drogba Expresses His Desire

     Daily News and Analysis

Statue of The Stamford Bridge King Will be Unveiled on October 1st.

Just today, our friends at vitalchelsea reported that the statue of Peter Osgood, who was and will remain as one of the most celebrated player at Chelsea, will be remembered once again, this time on the occasion of unveiling his 9ft. 4inch statue at Stamford Bridge. Peter Osgood who is also called as ''Born is The King of Stamford Bridge'' was, is and will always remain in the heart of us Bridge faithfuls.

Ramires took the ride of London.

New boy at the Bridge, Ramires took the trip of London few days ago and is loving to be the part of team which plays at such highly supported club. He also said that he has got his apartment in the city which is nearby of his fellow countryman Alex. Ramires joined Chelsea for 17million in summer and has played few games lately.

    Turnbull to get the game.

Chelsea third choice goalkeeper Ross Turnbull will start for the first time this season for tomorrow's Carling Cup match against Newcastle at home. After watching his performance in the preseason I firmly believe that at least that position will be troublesome for Chelsea. Well I hope it doesn't happen like this. Cause there is a huge difference in preseason performance and regular season, and our team only has proved that. so I wish best luck to him.

Toure says his team can stop high flying Chelsea.

Yaya Tourette of new boys Manchester city said that he and his team have all what it takes to stop the Chelsea juggernaut at this weekend's crunch clash at the City of Manchester Stadium. I guess he was high while he commented or he hasn't watched Chelsea playing this season. We have scored 21 premier league goals so far and have conceded only 1. but still weekend opponents are of another level and we will have to take revenge of last season and considering the performance of both sides so far I dont think there should be any problem in the process.

    Drogba wants all 4

We Want All Says The Hitman

Didier Drogba of Chelsea who has been high note this season has reiterated his desire of clinching all the four trophies which Chelsea will play for this season. Though all 4 seems unlikely to happen but we can believe in margin into that as our performance so far. Drogba has scored 5 goals this season and surely there are many to come.
