Match Preview - Wesh Ham vs. Chelsea

Great Chance to Stay on Top

After lengthy two weeks of Euro Qualifiers, Premier League action will return this saturday and We will be taking on West Ham at Upton Park in afternoon clash. The match will be the first of the six London derbys to be played this season. (other derbys will include Arsenal and Spurs).

Chelsea will be sitting on top of the table after three wins in three matches of the season. Well, we are the only team so far which has grabbed all the points in the games played. On the other hand West Ham are at the bottom of the table without a single point so far.

We have scored handsome 14 goals in opening month of the lengthy season without our goal post opened for opponents. Whereas Hammers have conceded 9 goals and have managed to reply with only 1 against Bolton. So in terms of the performance we will be having real advantage over them.

This match will be having a meetup of the players as well as manager who were related with opponent club earlier. Franky will be returning to the club where he played before joining Chelsea in 2001. also current West Ham manager Avram Grant was at the helm of Chelsea after departure of Mourinho. Also Scott Parker played for us in 2004-05 season. Carlton Cole was at Stamford Bridge too but for almost all the time he was loaned out elsewhere.

Last season we drew at Upton Park when Chelsea legend Zola was the manager out there and in the return fixture we won convincingly 4-1 and marched toward league glory. Considering the past record and present condition of both clubs at can be said without the doubt in mind that we will be able to grab all the points tomorrow.

Returning To The Action
Good news for all of us will be that JT and Lampard will be making a comeback on the pitch after they missed Euro Qualifies with national team. Also all the players who were on International dutyhave returned home without the injuries and will be ready to roar once again.

We might see Zhirkov starting tomorrow in place of Malouda or if not that then he will surely get handful of time as a sub after he declared that he might have to consider his future at the club if he do not get enough chances.

Atlast what we can say is that we will be able to win convincingly tomorrow, though we shouldn't be expecting lot of goals but at the end of the day what matters most is to grab maximum possible points while doing it in style.
Last season :- 1-1 at Upton Park
                          4-1 at Stamford Bridge .

Player to Watch :- Frank Lampard
    Prediction :- 0 - 2
