Cech and Ashley Cole won Player of The Year Award and Players' Player of The Year Award respectively of Chelsea FC last night. First of all I would like to congratulate both of them and would like to see more and more prolific performances from them next season.

On the other hand, the common thing which I found in both the winners is that they are from back-line. Cech being goalkeeper and Cole being left back. Does it give any sign to you?

For me, it is enough of a proof how miserable we were at front and in the midfield this season. Since Roman took over, no defender or the goalkeeper has won PoTY award except Terry. Since 2001, only thre times defender or goalkeeper have won it, Terry in 2001 and 2006 and Cudicini in 2002 so in 11 years only thrice the award has gone to player from back-line.

Isn't it is clear sign that how good we are at back and how poor we were in midfield and in attack? (I don't want to discredit the winners but still I couldn't resist myself from thinking in this way)
